Arista Jhanjee is a Program Assistant at the UCSF Global Health Group’s Malaria Elimination Initiative. In this role, she provides administrative, logistical, and operations support to MEI team members and programs, including the Lancet Commission on malaria eradication. Arista also assists with a range of communications activities at the MEI. Prior to joining the MEI, she worked with the Family Planning 2020 initiative at the United Nations Foundation (UNF), managing logistics for an international conference. During her time at UNF, Arista also provided research, communications, and administrative support to the Global Health team and the 3D Program for Women and Girls. She previously interned at several global and public health-focused think tank programs and non-profit organizations in Washington D.C.
Arista has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) degree in Science, Technology, and International Affairs (Global Health concentration) and a certificate in International Development from Georgetown University.
