
Adeogun Adedapo
Dr. Adeogun Adedapo is a Senior Research Fellow at the Molecular Entomology and Vector Control Unit, Public Health and Epidemiology Department, Nigerian Institute of Medical Research. He is also a visiting lecturer at Osun State University and Lead City University. He is a member of the African Network for Vector Resistance and currently a Technical Advisor to the Global Malaria Program on the invasion of Anopheles stephensi. He has successfully supervised 4 PhD students and currently supervising numerous other students both in Nigeria and outside the country. He is the country entomologist supporting the National Malaria Elimination Program since 2009 in Entomology related activities. He has an interest in modelling, population genetics of mosquitoes, testing new vector control products and implementation research. He likes collaborating with individuals with great ideas and very dedicated to work. He is a member of the Integrated Vector Management and the current entomologist supporting the National Malaria Elimination Program in the implementation of Larval Source Management in Nigeria. He is currently the country PI on the MTG project.
