Zanga Kikana Josue

Zanga Kikana Josue (Msc , PhD) is a Congolese medical entomologist. He also holds a specialized degree in medical parasitology. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kinshasa and the principal coordinator of the Bioecology and Vector Control Unit at the Kinshasa School of Public Health.

His research focuses on the impact of environmental factors on the abundance and resistance selection in Anopheles mosquitoes. He is fluent in French and has an intermediate level of English, which he continues to improve. Over the years, Dr. Zanga has developed strong expertise in medical entomology, public health, and research. He has also led and supervised various research and intervention projects, allowing him to work in diverse and international environments.

As the principal investigator in several medical entomology research projects, he serves as the focal point for the PMI/Evolve project in the DRC. He has worked extensively in research units studying malaria transmission, particularly through two major studies conducted in collaboration with the University of Oxford and LSTM.
