Malaria Elimination Initiative joins MESA Track database
The Malaria Elimination initiative (MEI), in collaboration with the Malaria Eradication Scientific Alliance (link is external) (MESA), has posted its research portfolio (link is external) on the MESA Track database, a freely available database of research projects relevant to malaria elimination and eradication. MESA launched the database at ASTMH in New Orleans (link is external). The MEI’s research portfolio includes documentation of country progress, operational research to improve surveillance and response strategies, and research on costs, benefits, and financing requirements for elimination and prevention of reintroduction.
Other institutions, including MACEPA (link is external) and Malaria Consortium (link is external), are also listed in MESA Track. MESA Track is a living and growing database and it is open for any research organization or scientist to submit their research portfolio (link is external).
