Kulssum Dade Faque Mussa

Kulssum Dade Faque Mussa, a Mozambican national, has been a general practitioner for over 15 years and holds a Master’s degree in Field and Laboratory Epidemiology from the Faculty of Medicine at Eduardo Mondlane University.

She led the HIV/AIDS/STI Programme at the Zambézia Provincial Health Directorate for 3 years. After which she worked at Beira Central Hospital as the focal point for occupational health and diabetes consultations for 2 years.

For the past 9 years, she has been working at the National Malaria Control Programme, Ministry of Health, currently leading the surveillance, monitoring and evaluation unit.

She has experience in monitoring and evaluation, budgeting, strengthening provincial and district teams to improve data quality, and supervising postgraduate students in their research protocols.

Currently, she is a PhD student enrolld in Biosciences and Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine, Eduardo Mondlane University.
